Dad’s lesson
Daughter asks dad what
she should become
and Malaysian dad surprises
her with ‘you can be whatever
you want to be except dont be a racist’.
‘why suddenly such a downer subject? , ‘
daughter innocently asks.
‘Not serious. I just want to get
an important record straight -
and right from my heart. Racism
will spell the end of everything
good in this country, ‘ he stresses.
‘Well dad, I understand, ‘ she cools down
and dad warms up her hands with his.
