I only wanted you
A thousand words couldn’t bring you back,
I know because I tried.
Neither could a thousand tears,
I know because I cried.
You left behind a broken heart,
and happy memories too,
but I never wanted memories,
I only wanted you.

This poem is a knock off of an extremely popular poem that I wrote eleven years ago when my chihuahua service dog had died. The person who wrote this changed the words of mine with the same basic meaning ang used the last two lines EXACTLY and title from my poem.
