LIFE AS I SEE IT

In a task one thought one would succeed,
When one fails,
His heart is ripped apart
Like the sail of a ship is ripped by gales.
Then he is depressed
And in despair.
He is angry with himself
And his failure is all he does care.

If the same befalls thee,
Then disappointed you must not be.
Even if others to you curtly comment, despise or disdain,
Confident you must remain.

Must you didle yourself
By deducing that you will yet again fail?
You must desist this thought
As with confidence, you can scale every hill, every dale.
If you are disregarded,
Your determination mustn’t diminish.
You must recall your devoir
And reach the line of finish.
Indulge yourself
And to your dreams devote your time.
As even if you lose once, you’ll surely win next time
Trying again is no crime.

The world won’t have winners
Without losers, you see.
So you may lose once
But next time, a winner you may be.

You must use your full ability
To be number one.
Even if you lose,
In your heart, you’re deemed to have won.
