Day One

Your eyes creep open like
Two tiny cracks in a china cup.
Your Fat fingers grapple air
Casting a spell.

Gigantic forms murmur and coo
As you pass day one.
Lazily you kick
An imaginary balloon.

Satisfied, you close your eyes.
Silence surrounds your tiny frame
You sleep.
Day one is over.

Dream, Dreamers, Dream!

A loving angel came to me in dreams.
She showed me life’s not always what it seems
And brought me to a place where sweet dreams live.
She gave to me a gift that I now give . . .
A dreamer’s dream.

She whispered, “Take my hand and I will lead you through
A place where only sweet dreams can come true.
Close your eyes and open up your heart,
For then this flight of dreams so sweet can start.
Dream, Dreamer, Dream.”

She brought me through the darkness to the Light
Where colors wrapped around me, such delight,
A patchwork quilt of beauty without seams
Each color was a rainbow full of dreams,
Dreamer’s dreams.

She led me through a hallway of pure sound
With doors flung open widely all around.
And from each room a song would gently play,
I wished with all my heart that I could stay
In this dreamer’s dream.

But we drifted in the fragrance of the breeze
To savor all the flowers and the trees.
We tasted all of life that we could see
And felt it flow as one in harmony…
We dreamed this dreamer’s dream.

Then my angel turned her eyes to me and said,
“You are the Keeper of these Dreams inside your head.
Find sweet dreamers who would dream of Love and Light,
These dreams will lead them safely through the night.
Help these dreamers dream.”

And so I am the Keeper of this Dream, it’s true,
But I offer all my dreams to each of you.
May their loving sweetness visit you each night
And fill your soul with Love and Warmth and Light.
Dream, Dreamers, Dream!

Family Angels

I like to think that angels,
Are loved ones who’ve moved on,
It doesn’t say this in the Bible,
But, it doesn’t say I’m wrong.

For instance, there’s my grandparents,
Who went to heaven long ago,
But I can sense their presence,
As if they’re still with us below.

Sometimes when I am feeling blue,
And way down in the dumps,
I swear my grandma kisses me,
And she’s done this more than once.

I hear grandpa’s jolly laugh,
Time and time again,
And when I do, I chuckle, too,
I can’t help but join in.

So, I know that they are angels,
Who are here to keep us cheered,
And I find it very comforting,
To know that they are near.

And there are other family members,
Who have since moved on,
Aunts and uncles – cousins, too
Yet I know they’re still around.

I find myself quite frequently,
Talking to them all,
And it seems they all reply to me,
When they hear me call.

I, too, have been protected,
From death and tragedy,
And I know a family angel,
Was looking after me.

Our loved ones may pass on,
But they never really go,
We miss seeing, touching, feeling them,
Yet they’re still here, you know.

We can’t have a family gathering,
Without including them,
Angels don’t need invitations,
They’re always welcomed in.

And when the rest of us pass on,
And it’s our turn to bid goodbye,
God will host a family banquet,
At His palace in the sky.

We will have a blest reunion,
Like never held before,
With our precious angel family,
Who’ll be together ever more.

Forever

Your eyes shine like crystals under the sea
You make me feel as happy as can be
But you say we have grown apart these last few months
you put the spotlight on me, and treat me like a dunce
How i wish things where as they use to be
The good ole days, when you cared and loved me
But it seems those days are long gone now
and with a frown, i shed a tear and watch it
fall to the ground, bound to this love thats real
but simply doesn’t appeal to those who don’t feel…

Forget the times

Forget the times he walked by
Forget the times he made u cry
Forget the times he spoke your name
Remember now your not the same.
Forget the times he held your hand
Forget the sweet things if u can
Forget the times & Don’t pretend
Remember now he’s just ur friend

Friends are Like Angels

Friends are Like Angels

Our friends are like angels,
Who brighten our days.
In all kinds of wonderful ways.

Their thoughtfulness comes,
As a gift from above.
And we feel we’re surrounded,
By warm, caring love.

Like upside-down rainbows,
Their smiles bring the sun.
And they fill ho-hum moments,
With laughter & fun.

Friends are like angels,
without any wings.
Blessing our lives,
With the most precious things.

God Gift..

One day when God felt generous,
He looked down at me and smiled,
“Since I feel so magnanimous,
I’d like to give you something, child.”

He asked me what I wanted,
I said, “Oh, really nothing more,
You’ve done so much already.”
He said, “That’s what God is for.”

“You have been pretty good,” He said,
I know there’s not much that you seek,
I will pick a little something,
Just to make your life complete.”

With great anticipation,
I looked forward to my gift,
I wondered what God had in mind,
That would give me such a lift.

“This gift,” God said, “You realize,
Bears some responsibility,
So, if you accept my present,
You must be willing to agree…

“To offer unconditionally,
A section or a part,
Of more than half of you,
The larger portion of your heart.”

“Okay, God,” I answered,
“Since in You, I always trust,
I’ll meet your obligation,
In the manner that I must.”

To myself, I thought, wow, what a gift,
For so much of me, God’s asked,
Now what could be so valuable,
That my share was more than half?

With both hands I sought my gift,
I still did not have a clue,
Then God put your hand in mine,
And said His gift to me was
YOU!

I Hope

I hope your dreams take you to the corners of your smiles,
to the highest of your hopes,
to the windows of your opportunities,
and to the most special places your heart has ever known

If Tears Could Build A Stairway

If tears could build a stairway,
and memories a lane.
I would walk right up to heaven,
and bring you back again.

No farewell words were spoken,
no time to say goodbye.
You were gone before I knew it,
and only God knows why.

My heart still aches with sadness,
and secret tears still flow.
What it meant to love you,
the world will never know.

But now I know you want me
to mourn for you nomore.
To remember all the happy times,
life still has much in store.

Since you’ll never be forgotten,
I pledge to you today.
A hollowed place within my heart
is where you’ll always stay.

The bestfriend i’ve ever had
i loved you like a brother

Lonely Little Boy

I saw a lonely little boy,
walking down a railroad track
I didn’t see a trace of joy
as I looked back
If I see him again,
I know what I’ll do
Say, Hi there friend,
Let’s play! me and you.
