Your Birthday![mother]

Your Birthday is here,
Bringing joy and pleasures new,
On this special day, Mother dear,
I want to remember you.
I cannot give you costly gifts,
And I’ve told you this before,
No matter what I give to you,
You give back much, much more.
I’m giving you a pure, sweet rose,
Gathered in the early morn,
This rose you planted in my heart,
The day that I was born.
In kindly, loving thoughts of you,
And with the faith you still impart,
The rose I give to you today,
Is the love that’s in my heart.

My Dear Mom![Birthday poem]

Mom, I loved you yesterday,
I love you tomorrow and everyday.
You were there for me my first day of school, t
o hold my hand and give me courage to go.
You listened to me when I needed to talk,
you talked to me when I needed to listen.
You let me grow and learn from my own mistakes.
You never left my side when I was feeling down,
I knew you would be there to pick me up.
I wish there was a way
I could repay all the things you have done for me,
but there’s nothing great enough to repay the greatest mother of all..

Happy Birthday Mother

Happy birthday, Mother,
Even though you might prefer
Life without these markers,
Each too public to defer.
Now that you are fifty,
Sing to us your own sweet song,
That we might celebrate your life,
Rejoicing all night long.
Each of us has love to bring,
Each a special song to sing,
To lose your heart among.

I want to say I love you on your birthday

I want to say I love you on your birthday,
Though love is something you don’t want from me.
Things didn’t go so well when I last said it,
And so I’ll keep it silent in my heart.

But how the words reverberate within me!
A song that I must struggle not to sing,
A music I must dance to without motion,
A poem that I must never read aloud.

Your wishes are a wall I would not scale,
Yet won’t abandon, loathe to leave behind.
I cannot have, and cannot bear to lose you,
And so I send you this in my despair.

Baby’s first Birthday

Teddy bears and seas of blue
Smiling in honor of you
An infant, not long ago
Now, one candle is aglow
You are growing up so fast
How quickly a year has passed
You are special, sweet, and wise
A present before our eyes.

For a year, I’ve watched you shine
An angel I can call mine
Sent from Heaven, just for me
Filled with hope and dignity
A blessing, now and always
You brighten all of my days
Precious child, I love you so
More than anyone could know.

Baby’s breath and sun-filled skies
Ladybugs and lullabies
Starry nights and bright moonbeams
Tender hearts and lasting dreams
Each, a gift within your view
During this time, made for you
May only good things come your way
On this, your very first birthday.

Baby Birthday Poem

One candle for ……..Baby,
On her (his) birthday cake,
One love pat - a soft one,
One hug and one shake;
Then one kiss with love
That can never be told,
All these for our ………Baby
Who’s just ……. year old.

Best Friend Poems

Birthday Wish
Today I received a call from a friend that is very dear to me,
He called to say goodbye and his soul would be set free,
My friend is a wrestler, fighter, and has a black belt in Judo,
But I fear He’ll lose this fight with cancer he got a few months ago,
At the end of our conversation He said if we never see each other again please remember All the good times we’ve spent
And in his weak voice I heard him say I love you my brother,
I love you with all my hearts content,
As tears came streaming down my face I replied I love you too,
and I’ll never ever forget you
Today I received a call from a friend,
and if for only one day,
I would wish for No more pain and suffering for my friend,
Let it be Today,
This day My Birthday

Today is my birthday

Today is my birthday, and I’m turning four.
This year is my wish for a knock at the door.
Mom say’s he’s not coming but I’m not so sure.
Today at my party I know he will be,
and when he gets here I’ll have him sit next to me.
I carry a picture with me every day of my daddy and me on my hospital day,
I was wrapped in a blanket and tucked in his arms.
And now I sit here with tears in my eyes,
Mom keeps telling me to try and have fun,
but I cant figure out just what I have done.
My party’s almost over all my presents unwrapped and I can’t help but wonder
just where is he at.
Happy Birthday’s to me is all I hear,
and I’m crying right now because my daddy’s not here.
It’s really late now and everyone’s gone,
mom’s helping me put my P.J’s on,
I finish my prayers and I hop into bed,
mom covers me up and kisses my head.
My wish didn’t come true I sobbed as I said,
please don’t forget to leave my picture by the side of my bed.

To You dear Mother, On Your Birthday

May your very special day
Overflow with love and peace,
Thank God for his grace and mercy
His wonders to me never cease.
Each life you’ve been blessed to touch
Reminds us to persevere,
Your commitment and obedience to God
Opens hearts and minds, it’s clear.
Unwavering strength you possess
A devoted servant in all that you do,
Reverence the One from whom you’re made
Ever faithful, ever loving, ever true.
Let’s celebrate and enjoy this moment
Or reminisce about years ago,
Vow we have to cherish you
Even more than you’ll ever know.
Dear Mother, Happy Birthday!

Birthday Wish

This birthday wish is coming to you
And I want to acknowledge all that you do

But first let me tell you how this poem came to be
I had some trouble this morning, as you will soon see

I went into town to get a birthday card
But dang it, at home I had left my debit card

So I decided to write you this poem instead
The thought of going back to town had filled me with dread

You’ve loved your family from the very start
What you and mom have created can never be torn apart

You’ve always been there whenever I needed
You make me feel special by the way I am treated

You are my father for which I am glad
Without you in my life I would be truly sad

You’ve made me laugh, you’ve made me cry
You’ve let me make my own decisions because you knew I had to try

For you as a father I have no complaint
I love you to pieces, but I know you’re no saint

I cherish the closeness that we now share
I want you to know how very much I care

You are the gift that was given to me
Your love for me is truly the key

To sum it all up, just let me say
I love you, I love you, each and everyday
Happy Birthday
