I Wish for You One Thing, and That Is Love

I wish for you one thing, and that is love:
Love for life, and pure, unfettered joy
At being here upon this vivid earth.
May great pleasure come from giving pleasure,
And love that streams out from your burning heart
Light the darkened world and make it bloom.

I wish you to be loved both well and long
By all those whom you love; that these be many,
Among whom, not the least, might be yourself.

May you love the beautiful and good,
And always act with honesty and justice,
Being what you would that others be.

But most of all, I wish for you a love
Into which your love might plunge and drown,
An ocean in which you might live and breathe

Life Is Beautiful, My Child

Life is beautiful, my child,
Though many things go wrong,
And you may hear much sadness in
Its strange and lovely song.
Though friends and loved ones die, my child,
They’re never really gone.
Nor more nor less than yesterday,
In you they will live on.

They will live on in you, my child,
As everything you see,
Though it must vanish, will remain
Alive in memory.

Alive in what you think and feel
And dream and say and do,
For all who ever were still are
Upon this earth in you.

My Baby Girl

It seems like only yesterday
With a teardrop in my eye
That you were born into this world
With a whimper and a cry
The days flew by and turned to weeks
The weeks almost a year
And every time you learn something new
I get that same ol’ tear
I guess its cause you’re growing up
But to me it’s just too fast
I guess it’s just that I’m afraid
You’re innocents wont last
But as the years go stumbling by
One thing will remain true
You’ll always be my baby girl
No matter what you do.

My Treasure

God give us air to breath….
God give us heart that beats….
Like music to everyone’s ears to hear….
God gave us everything, we want as needs….
God gave me treasure that i loved and cares….
It’s more than a diamond that people wears….
More than a picasso’s paintings hangs on the wall….
They are like crystal in my eyes,
That glows like stars above high….
Thank you god for giving me my treasures….
Thank you my kiddos….
You are the gift that god gives….
You are the treasure….
That i love most…..
You are my life….My everything……..

The Lost Teddy

Once there was a little child who loved her teddy bear
She always has her teddy bear near her.
Her teddy bear keeps her happy when she’s asleep
The little child was in the bathroom, brushing her teeth
When a little fairy came in and took the little child’s teddy awayTo a far away castle that no one knows about it
When the little child had finished doing her teeth, she notice her teddy was missing
She looked everywhere for the teddy
She was crying when she went to her mummy
The little fairy putted the little child’s teddy back on her bed
The little child went up to her bedroom thinking that her teddy was lost forever
But when she got to her bedroom, she saw her teddy lying at the end of the bed
She was so happy that she slept very well.

To An Orphan Child

AH, child, thou art but half thy darling mother’s;
Hers couldst thou wholly be,
My light in thee would outglow all in others;
She would relive to me.
But niggard Nature’s trick of birth
Bars, lest she overjoy,
Renewal of the loved on earth
Save with alloy.

The Dame has no regard, alas, my maiden,
For love and loss like mine–
No sympathy with mind-sight memory-laden;
Only with fickle eyne.
To her mechanic artistry
My dreams are all unknown,
And why I wish that thou couldst be
But One’s alone!

To My Child

Come back into the fold
of my protective wings.
Let not your spirit be restless,
For you are here with me.
I will always be
your one on which to lean,
your rock, your number one fan.
Fear not child
to speak your mind.
Undo the wrongs of the day,
And together we’ll make them right.
Speak of heartaches,
so that they may be subdued.
Share your joys,
so that they may be my joys too.
Always know that I am with you,
For you are my precious gift
from God.
I will always love you,
And keep you safe from life’s hardships.
I will cushion your bumps,
And tend to your scrapes.
I will guide you tenderly;
Your brilliant eyes
will always be my sun;
Share with me your heart,
And I with you.
I love you.
