It means so much to me,
You’re always just a touch away,
Whenever I’ve a need.
God blessed me so very much
The day he gave me you,
In all life’s joys and sorrows,
You have helped me through.
And every time I need you,
I say a little prayer
And in my heart I feel you near
Like Jesus were standing there.
Our God made you perfectly
I wouldn’t change a thing
With every storm within my life
It’s a rainbow, to me, you bring.
God sends angels every day
In the form that we call friends,

I have a friend that’s an angel
But, this is what I find
She’s lots of fun and silly
Quite an unusual kind
She makes me laugh

But friends are important,

There is someone there to count on
who repairs my broken heart
and gives me wings to fly
and I make a brand new start
A special one who doesn’t judge me
or criticize the things I do
Someone who makes me take a look
and see me through the eyes of you
When this happens I am lifted
to a place that’s far above
from the darkness to the light
to a place that’s full of love
When I see me through your eyes
things are really not so vile
I thank God for you, my friend
as my frown becomes a smile
