Life Poems, Poetry about Life

FEELINGS

I keep feelings for you,
I didn’t know I could
I try not to think about them
And just avoid that they’re there
But every time I see you
They swarm back into my heart
Like it hasn’t had enough breaking.

I can’t control these feeligns
Although I really wish I could
Because then there wouldn’t be a problem
And I wouldn’t know they are there
But they stay until I see you again
And I know that you don’t help
Because you lead me on everytime
And I believe you, I give in.

I’m hoping to control my feelings
And try to ignore that they are there
Maybe then it won’t matter to me so much
And I won’t need to know you care.
But no matter how hard I try
They are always waiting in my heart
So that when I see you the feelings can start.

Footprint of Life

As I see your tiny footprint form

Pressing against your mommy’s belly
letting us know soon you will be born
Brings tears of joy to my eyes

The time will be soon my little one

Out side of the hospital window are butterflies

Little blue ones

Fluttering their wings
Ready to announcing your birth to the world

And giving us nature’s blessings

Your mother and I are so happy little one
When you arrive into our world
with eyes of pearls

There will be rejoicing and plans being made
visitors, grandparents, and friends galore
but first we’ll hold you in our arms

Whisper lovely words in you ears
as we gently touch your face
and hold those tiny hands
Your birth gives life’s meaning so much..

Forever it wont last

Have u ever realized,
that u missed so much in life.
Do u live just to live,
just to be called alive..??

Have u ever forgotton
and let a great friendship die,
just coz u dint had time
and u forgot to say hi..

Do u realize,
u are heading so fast.
This one life u have
forever wont last..
Ever felt the drops,
the rain slapping the ground
Ever bothered to touch
and gather the moments around..??

Ever noticed the feel
on that innocent face,
all they want is a part of ur time
but u are hurried to win the race.

You often dance on the muzic,
the one playing somewhere behind,
Have u ever heard the voice,
calling u from ur inner side.

Slow down a bit,
and shower ur love to all.
Dont run so fast,
This one life u have
forever it wont last….

God Gift..

One day when God felt generous,
He looked down at me and smiled,
“Since I feel so magnanimous,
I’d like to give you something, child.”

He asked me what I wanted,
I said, “Oh, really nothing more,
You’ve done so much already.”
He said, “That’s what God is for.”

“You have been pretty good,” He said,
I know there’s not much that you seek,
I will pick a little something,
Just to make your life complete.”

With great anticipation,
I looked forward to my gift,
I wondered what God had in mind,
That would give me such a lift.

“This gift,” God said, “You realize,
Bears some responsibility,
So, if you accept my present,
You must be willing to agree…

“To offer unconditionally,
A section or a part,
Of more than half of you,
The larger portion of your heart.”

“Okay, God,” I answered,
“Since in You, I always trust,
I’ll meet your obligation,
In the manner that I must.”

To myself, I thought, wow, what a gift,
For so much of me, God’s asked,
Now what could be so valuable,
That my share was more than half?

With both hands I sought my gift,
I still did not have a clue,
Then God put your hand in mine,
And said His gift to me was
YOU!

He turned his life around

He sits at home all alone
Through his skin you see his bones
Never playing his guitar
Always seen drunk in bars

With his friends sniffing cocaine
Having holes in his veins
Starting to get regrets
Dripping wet with sweat

Never remembering what happened the night before
Throwing up all over the floor
Doesn’t care about his body
Acting very naughty

Being fed up with all the tension
He finally received an intervention
All the drugs got to his head
If he didn’t stop he’d end up dead

He turned his life around
He seems to rise from the ground
Playing concerts as loud as ever
Writing songs that are very clever

I SHALL

I shall look at the grass
Till I obtain the degree
of Doctor of grass

I shall look at the clouds
Till I become a Master
Of clouds

I shall walk beside the smoke
Till out of same
The smoke returns to the flame
Of its beginning

I shall walk beside all things
Till all things
Come to know me !

I’m gorgeous!

Straight brown hair, gently swept across my face
Starry hazel eyes with the dreamiest gaze
Lips – a light shade of pink, pouting in style
Lovelier still, when I smile my charming smile
Fair skin and the slender built that looks just right
Put together, they make me ONE MARVELLOUS(!!) SIGHT!
Call me Narcissus II if you must,
But you can’t deny…
I’m gorgeous!

IDENTIFICATION

I identify myself to a sole star
Craving for love
Kept in dark
Lost thyself
doesnt know wat to do
it searches for thy
where are you?????
its been in the dark for long
cant take it anymore
please take it out
let it b in the norm
Or it shall rest in peace forever
but that too in DARK

Life

Life is ocean of tears and happiness
Pains and pleasures should welcome with equality

Life is game with glorious prize
One surely wins who honestly tries

Life is queer with twist and turns
With life’s slaps everyone learns

Life is to build
One one must have that determinant grit to build

Life is to succeed
Suddess is no matter of luck or genius eyerything is within your reach

Life is for living happily
Pay whatever honest price it requires but live life happily…
