Not so long ago.
We give and take

Along time’s endless row.
Love is passed
And love received
To be passed on again:
A precious heirloom

You can see it in their eyes,
in tender hugs and long good-byes,
a love that only moms and daughters know.
You can see it in their smiles,
through passing years and changing …
I thought of you and closed my eyes

I saw you hang my first painting on the refrigerator,
and I wanted to paint another one.
When you thought I wasn’t looking, I saw you …
God made a wonderful mother,
A mother who never grows old;
He made her smile of the sunshine,
And He molded her heart of pure gold;
In her eyes He placed bright shining …
