Where love is

Up and down walking through a street
Many many people I did see
Some in their cars,
Some at the stores,
Still some sitting as beggars on the roads.
I heard one cry for his food that day
And yet one beg for his child’s gay.
Here and there, every where
People just kept passing them by
But none could turn and answer their plea.
Budding great men I saw at the beach
Selling tea and coffee and some peach
More so worse was the place
Where I could see physically challenged cases.
Small little children, neglected by their parents
Old, aged ones refused by their kith and kins.
Deprived of care and affection.
Where? Where are you O! Humanity?
Where have you gone O! Love and care?
May not be the money,
May not be the riches.
Just a word…
A caring word.
Just a touch…
A soothing touch.
Just a sight…
A caring sight.
Just a smile…
A simple smile.
Would mean so much for those in need.
Focus your vision beyond what you see
Spread your love, your kindness, your care…..
For you would be blessed by Thee…
Service unto man is service unto God
Serve your fellow men
Serve them all
Surely, where love is…
There God is……………
