Im finally happy, yes its true
You took the time
to break my shell
To let the real me shine through

I never thought I’d be here today
to be loved
to be cared for
I dont want it any other way

If you werent here
when I needed you the most
would bring my life to an end
like my lungs with no air
you helped me not choke

So, I thank you
for all that I’ve put you through
just letting you know I care
